thanks to the maple trees, the front yard gets a blanket for the winter

We have been having a mild fall,  so many plants are still green. Here are cimifuga and solomon seal.

The daylilies are still green but the stalks are all brown now.

I love the combination of rock and plant.

The cimifuga is still blooming, hosta leaves are dying now and turning brown.

The old maple trees lost a lot of branches, and I used them for walls and for lining the paths.
